Experimenting in Fusion

I've picked back up a short film I began working on last summer. I started over from scratch to refamiliarize myself with the footage I'd shot, and I got to this shot that had stumped me. The story calls for "an arm that doesn't have a hand, that narrows forever to an indefinite point" ... and it's safe to say I've never attempted to film anything like that before.
I tried my hand at creating this effect in Davinci Resolve -> Fusion. A combination of tracking, warping, stretching and squashing got me a result that I'm actually pretty happy with:
This is merely a 5-10 second mention in the story I filmed, however, I'm happy to experiment with the tools I have to attempt at bringing it to life.
My next step, is to fill this sillhouette with texture, instead of just a solid color. I'm not sure what texture I'll choose to fill this in... perhaps I can use the sillhouette as a mask over myself as it slowly fades in and out of frame. We shall see!
