I was sitting in my backyard with my X-T4 with the XF 18mm f/1.4, and decided to make the most of it. I tried out bracketing film simulations for the first time, and I found that comparing b&w, classic negative and classic chrome recipes lead me to really appreciating the depth classic negative brings.
Here's an example of classic negative straight out of camera:

Now here's that same picture, as classic chrome:

You can really tell the difference in the highlights on the top of the ball, and in the grass.
Here are some more shots of classic negative where I really appreciated the colors:

Next, I tried messing with slower shutter speeds and multi-exposures (again, all sooc).
I even came across a fun feature I had no idea was hidden in my camera: color exclusion. Here's green color exclusion:

and orange exclusion:

I love that my camera has all of these features, I really need to work on keeping them in the back of my head so it's easier for me to incorporate them into my creative process. I've seen some truly great multiple exposure + slow s.s. works before, I'd love to expand my repetoire to include these techniques. Maybe that can be my new year's resolution for 2025.
